Beach, which located in coastal area of Makassar City is one of Makassar land mark, which citizen is proud of it. By the
way, the coastal water quality is decreasing caused by one of the negative
effect of city development and people activity. The water pollution not merely
affects on the decreasing of coastal water organism, but also makes the coastal
water becomes dirty progressively. This phenomenon will decrease the aesthetics
of Losari Beach itself. Therefore, in order to eliminate the coastal water pollution,
it is necessary to make strategic actions as well as build a water treatment
plant and make people aware for not throwing away their waste to the water.
